Cognitive Development Samuel Carino PSY202: grownup Development and Life sound judgement (CNA1211A) Prof. Don Frey March 31, 2012 After reviewing the cognitive studys created by K. Warner Schaie, I found that I am currently strong in tot aloney sphere of influences but some are stronger than others. I in addition noticed in the graph based on longitude changes in the sextuplet areas of cognitive growing that in late declamatory hood some of the cognitive areas decrease dramatically (Witt & deoxyadenosine monophosphate; Mossler, 2010, Chapter 4: Cognitive Development, Figure 4.4). I hope that with the development of advanced medicine that the areas would change with age. Out of the 6 cognitive development areas I feel I am strongest at perceptual speed. The mission that I am currently tasked for puts me in situations where I have to make life changing decisions in the flash of an eye. My weakest area of the six would be numbers, I eternally had a pro blem with math and I contract out filename extension that area with the continuation of my education. Throughout my education I will have to use all of the areas to the best of my ability, and with the increase of my familiarity by school I will be fit to repay better at each area.
I good negociate point better in each cognitive area by studying and applying myself in everything I do. Through clip I will develop different methods of expanding my areas of cognitive development. I feel that one way to develop and sustain all six areas will be by living a healthy lifestyle. I also think as I get older if I can stay exceptional I will be able to sustain the ! six areas a lot longer than the average man. References Witt, G.A., & Mossler, R.A.
