Sociological research is a process that relies on the interplay between subjective evaluation and heading confirmation of experience. In sociological research, there ar 4 main methods: Experiments, Surveys, Field Research, & Analysis of alive documents & official statistics. This helps researchers observe & theory build. As exciting as explaining all four sounds, Im only going to talk ab bring out 3 out of 4. The ones I chose to discuss to you about atomic number 18, Experiments, Analysis of Existing Documents and prescribed Statistics & Surveys.
The first method Ill be discussing is The Experiment. Its the most important research method & its the only one that proves cause & effect. It can be performed in a lab or out in the real world, which would be considered field sample. There are 2 variables to this method, dependent variable & independent variable. Dependent variables invoice the results of the experiment (cause). Its the thing that causes behavioral commute. Independent variables are conditions changed by the experimenter, who sets their size, amount, or value (effect). Its the behavior change tested at the end of the experiment.
There are similarly 10 steps in Experiments, the first one is: To encounter the subjects, put ads on the radio, flyers, the Internet, etc. The second step is to cover version your subjects, make sure they dont have both injuries, mental illnesses, etc., that will harm them or anything that will be illegal for their age. The third step is to become informed consent, pronounce them their rights & the risks. The fourth step is to divide them into two groups, the experiment group & the control group; divide by random assignments. The fifth step is when the blinds are established, the volunteers do not know which group theyre in; this step controls the placebo effect.
